Sara’s passion for working with children with disabilities began in 2017 while teaching adaptive gymnastics. After growing up in Boston, Massachusetts, She earned her bachelor's degree in Communicative Disorders at University of New Hampshire. Sara moved across the country to gain a wide range of experiences in Portland, Oregon where she received a master's in Speech and Hearing Sciences at Portland State University. She leads her play-based sessions with passion, compassion, and flexibility.
Sara is dedicated to building safe, supportive connections with her pediatric clients. She focuses on individualized, engaging treatment that aligns with family goals, helping children grow in the areas they value most.
Areas of Specialty
Sara has experience with a wide range of communication in pediatric clients. She has a special interest in augmentative and alternative communication devices, social skills, early language delays, speech delay, language delays, stuttering, and childhood apraxia of speech. Her continued education and past research provide Sara with a strong drive for evidence based practice.
